Who We Are
We are a discipleship-focused and Bible-believing church. If it's in the Word it should be preached. If Jesus said it, it should be said. If he loved, then we will too. This is Valley Christian Assembly, the little church on the highway.
Our Values & What We Do
We gather together on Sundays at 10:00 am to worship the Lord and hear what He has to say to us, either through His word, words of wisdom, prophecy, or prayer.
We believe that the church exists to equip the saints to do the work of the ministry, making disciples and sharing the love of Christ. Everything we do on a Sunday morning and in every active ministry at VCA is dedicated to making Christ the foundation of everything we do and to prayer as the building blocks on which God will build His church.

We also believe that scripture is the primary way in which we hear the voice of God. Sunday morning messages are centered around the word, and if it is in the word, it is to be preached. We don't avoid complex topics or culturally sensitive issues. We seek the Lord's guidance through these topics, leaving us feeling enlightened and confident in our faith and our ability to dialogue with others about what we believe.

You will see this in action on a Sunday through our worship times, corporate prayer, messages, discipleship-oriented small groups, and community and fellowship with one another.
Core Values
Unity Under Christ
John 17:23
We are committed to guarding the bond of peace through the Spirit, recognizing that we are one body with one Lord, one faith, and one hope. As Jesus prayed in John 17:23, our unity reflects God’s love to the world. We strive to live as a family formed by Christ, walking in harmony so that His glory is seen in us.
Welcoming to all
Romans 12:13
Hebrews 13:2
Hospitality isn't just something that Hotels are good at. The people of God are called to a level of hospitality that can make us uncomfortable. We are to show love and hospitality in a way that makes both friends and strangers feel welcome, no matter where they come from or what they are struggling with. VCA is a place where you belong before you believe
Commitment
Matthew 5:37
James 5:12
Scripture says, "Let your yes be yes, and your no be no." We believe we should commit to what we say yes to and uphold our commitments with integrity.
We also believe that our yes before the Lord is as good as an oath or promise before Him. To say yes to God holds great weight
Prayer as the foundation
Without prayer, we cannot be successful in anything. Without prayer, we have no relationship with God and no real wisdom. Prayer is what the church is built out of. Prayer is foundational for a Christlike life full of discipleship and peace. We must pray in everything without ceasing.
Uncomfortable Christianity
Matthew 19:26
2 Timothy 1:7
Sometimes the Lord asks us to be part of, or to do, things in our walk with him that take us out of our comfort zones. We believe this is how He leads us to places of significant growth in our own lives and in the Kingdom of God.
